On August 18, 2012, Miss Meredith Clay became the bride of Mr. Charles Savary, Jr. To say that I LOVED documenting this wedding is easily the understatement of the year – in a perfect world, their day could have extended to an entire week! Charles and Meredith are Virginia residents, but opted to return to Meredith’s home state of West Virginia for a relaxed, nature infused wedding, surrounded by family and friends. I absolutely adore working in Fayetteville and the surroundings are nothing short of impeccable for a fresh and organic look. After saying their vows on the deck, Charles and Meredith joined their guests at Smokey’s for great food, camaraderie, and lots of photo booth fun! They and their wedding party were awesome sports, trekking around big rocks and driving up and down the windiest roads in the state for some amazing photo ops! To pay homage to Charles’ Korean background, he and Meredith donned traditional outfits later in the day, known as Hanbok(s). As the sun began to set, guests headed over to Canyon Falls Swimming Hole. Note the Ninjago Lego guys who followed us there
Thank you, ringbearer!!
In a first of my shooting career, I ended up in the pool – I went in to rescue a large, wayward firefly who found himself in trouble but then…. the coolest bride and groom in the universe took the plunge!!! A fitting farewell to an amazing day!!! Much love, thanks, and gratitude!!!
